To all those who have served or are serving: THANK YOU!
These men and women fight hard to keep us safe and our freedoms real.
Ted's Grandpa Val served in the Navy, thanks Grandpa!
My Grandfather Roscoe (My dad's dad) who passed away before I was born, served in World War II as a fighter pilot.

2 Words:
GO PHILLIES!
Living in Philly did had some perks: good sports teams!
Tonight will be an easy win by at least 4 - at least that is my call.
Then tomorrow there will be a few celebrations that look like this:
And the team will get another one of these just like last year:
The rumor in Philly is that we hadn't won a world championship in any sport since 1980 because that is when the curse was put on the city for building a building taller than the statue of William Penn. Last year before the Phillies won, the tallest building in Philly finished construction and put at the top a small statue of William Penn breaking the curse! Go Phillies!
The statue we can thank :)

Good Bye Philly...for now!
A week before we left Philly, we got last minute pictures taken by an amazing photographer in the area, Danica Nelson. I love her style and she was really fun to work with. Her blog address is: http://danicanelsonphotography.blogspot.com/ and is also on my side bar of blog addresses.
We did out "shoot" on the UPENN campus with was very appropriate considering the time and not to mention the money we spent there. Ted graduated with a Master's Degree and a Certificate in Human Resource Management from the Wharton School of Business and I took classes there and worked there for awhile.
We even threw Lola in for some "real" family photos, Danica was SO patient with Lola and was really creative with the locations across the campus. ENJOY!
BYE PHILLY WE WILL MISS YOU!
I always wanted a picture with this Ben Frankin in it, SO cute!

Exciting News!
No, I am not pregnant...sad I know.
However, today is the first day in almost 3 whole years that I was able to put my hair in a pony tail! Yea!
Now I know that it wasn't a full on pony tail because I used some bobby pins to pull back my bangs, and the tail part is still really short but it worked! An
d best of all my hair was out of my face for packing!
I guess some of you don't know my excitement, but this has been along day coming!
To commemorate this day I found a few different styles of pony tails...
I had to add this picture after I already did the post because Ted, out of no where, said I looked like "that man pirate" on the Pirates of the Caribbean, I laughed but was a little sad inside, I worked so hard for this day and that is what he said? Ha ha, oh well. I couldn't find a better picture of the actual ponytail but you get the idea :)

Actual Graduation Day
Class of 2009!
Wednesday was the actual graduation day for Ted's 8th grade students. This graduation was better than my 12th grade graduation! They sang songs and had presentations. It was great!
The first song they sang was "Stand Up For Love." As the chorus sang about standing up for what you believe in, one by one the students stood up in a random order. It is hard to explain, but was so moving then towards the end all the rest of the students stood up. SO COOL!
Starting by saying the pledge.Try to see it, this is when they all started to stand up, really an emotional minute for me and most the audience.
MBA Graduation Week
Ted's 8th grade students graduated this week! It was truly a week of celebrating. How fun!
The whole group, man they made me feel old, they had SO much energy...was I like that?Tuesday night was the dinner dance (like a prom). The girls were all gussied up and the boys looked handsome. Here are a bunch of pictures...I took almost 300...here are just some!
Every day Ted (or should I say "Mr.") welcomed his students with a hand shake. All the boys wanted pictures with "Mr." shaking his hands!
I prefer watching (the camera was a good cover for my two left feet!)
